Registration

It is the mission of all Sky River coaches to provide a safe, instructive and fun environment for all players, regardless of skill level. It is encouraged that all coaches strive to learn more about the important role they play in a child's development in soccer.

Do you want to be a coach:

All coaching positions within Sky River Soccer must be applied for. It is important that all individuals interested in coaching apply (or re-apply) each year. This ensures that we keep only good quality coaches within our club. Click on the appropriate link to download and complete the applicable coach application form:

Recreational soccer coaches apply online and register as a coach see steps below.

Select coaching application- paper form must first be completed, once accepted you will need to register online above.

All Coaches, Volunteers, Referees, must have a Risk Mnangerment Clearance per Washington Youth Soccer and USYSA.

Please be aware that regardless of any current RMA clearances you may have from another organization you must still be cleared through the RMA system managed by Washington Youth Soccer.

REGISTRATION PROCESS SUMMARY

With the ever changing demands to protect children from all forms of abuse and unfavorable conditions, all US Youth Soccer volunteers are required to complete a national background check as well as complete a few online training courses. This process is known as a Risk Management Application (RMA). Once all of the steps (listed below) have been completed, a volunteer is ready to be accepted to participate in a role for the Club. Currently, a completed and valid RMA expires annually on April 30th.

Note: There is no guarantee a specific team (age or gender) is in need of a coach. Most available volunteer coaching needs are at the younger age groups.
